Our Savior

Have you ever asked Jesus Christ to be your Lord and Savior?

He loves you very much! No matter your past, you can experience a new life through Jesus Christ.

Please Realize…

1.  God truly loves you.

“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have everlasting life.” (John 3:16-17 KJV)

2.  But all of us have sinned and separated ourselves from God.

“For all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God.” (Romans 3:23 KJV)

“But your iniquities have separated you from your God, your sins have hidden His face from you so that He will not hear.” (Isaiah 59:2 NIV)

3. Good works, religion, morality, etc. cannot gain your entrance into Heaven with God. If we decide to do nothing about our sin or if we attempt to be restored with God by any other way than through His Son, Jesus Christ, we will be eternally separated from God.

“There is a way that seems right to a man, but the ways thereof are the ways of death.” (Proverbs 14:12 KJV)

“All our righteous acts are like filthy rags.” (Isaiah 64:6 NIV)

4. God has provided the only way to Himself – through His Son, Jesus Christ.

“For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.” (I Timothy 2:5-6 NKJV; Acts 4:12 NKJV)

“But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”
(Romans 5:8 NIV)

God loves you so much that He sent His only Son, Jesus, to pay the penalty for ALL your sin.  Through Jesus’ death, burial, and rising to life again, the sins that separated you from God are forgiven and remembered no more.

“…that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures.” (1 Corinthians 15:3-4 KJV)

“For Christ also suffered once for sins, the just (Christ) for the unjust (us), that He might bring us to God…”   (1 Peter 3:18 KJV)

“…For I will forgive their iniquity, and their sin I will remember no more.”   (Jeremiah 31:34b NKJV)

5.   You can believe and receive Jesus Christ as your Savior and Lord.

“Yet to all who received Him, to those who believed in His Name, He gave the right to become children of God.”   (John 1:12 NIV)

“That if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.  For it is with your heart  that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved.”   (Romans 10:9-10 NIV)

“But these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you may have life in His name.”
(John 20:31 NKJV)

6.   You can receive Him right now by faith through praying a prayer like this one:

“Lord Jesus, please forgive me of my sins and come into my life as my Lord and Savior. I believe You paid my sin debt by Your death on the cross, being buried, and rising from the grave the third day. I thank You now for Your free gift of eternal life, having saved me and forgiven me of all my sins, and placing me into Your family. Thank You for coming into my life and empowering me to live for You.”

If you prayed this prayer in faith from your heart, you are now a child of God–a Christian! Your faith in Jesus has given you eternal life! You do not have to be afraid of not going to Heaven or ever being separated from God again!

You are on a new journey with Him! Try to attend a church that teaches the Word of God plainly and grow in fellowship with other Christians.

“Everyone who calls on the Name of the Lord will be saved.” (Romans 10:13 NIV)

“He who has the Son has life (eternal); he who does not have the Son of God does not have life. I write these things to you who believe in the Name of the Son of God so that you may KNOW that you (now) have eternal life.” (I John 5:12-13 NIV)
